Previous week we said-"If nifty trades above 5070 it may go to 5120/5180 levels".That happened.Nifty breached it's previous high of 5182 and closed at 5178.So technically nifty is now showing uptrend.But one has to be careful while trading in this situation.Because,
1.Nifty is now moving towards overbought zone
2.Inflation is becoming high.Government may hike CRR at any time.
3.GDP rate for the running quarter may be lower than expected due to problems in agricultural sector.
4.Variations in Crude oil price.
5.F&O Closing on 31/12/2009
So be cautious,keep strict stop loss in every trade.
Now Nifty will face some resistance at 5250.If it crosses that level it may see 5310/5360.On the downside nifty will get support at 5100/5040/4980 levels.
Sensex will face resistance at 17500/17730/17920 levels.Support levels are 17250/17000/16800

Previous week we said "If it (Nifty) comes below 5100 then it will see down trend.........a close below 5011 will lead nifty to 4980".That happened.Now nifty is trading weak.If nifty trades below 4980 during intraday then it may go to 4920.A close below 4935 may take nifty to 4860/4785 levels.But remember 4980 is a very good support level.Strong buying is expected at this stage.If nifty trades above 5070 it may go to 5120/5180 levels.Above 5200 once again nifty will become bullish.
The possible targets on the downside for the Sensex is 16580-16275-16010 and resistance at 17000.
Inflation for the month of November reached a ten month high of 4.78 per cent.So our markets are expecting a CRR hike from Reserve Bank of India.This will also affect our markets.So from trading point of view I would like to say it is better to sell on rallies.Long term investors can buy stocks on any declines.

Indian stock market outlook: from 7/12/2009 to 11/12/2009

Previous week volatility in our markets came to an end.Markets traded firm through out the week.Nifty traded above 5150 and showed some strength.Some profit taking occured in the last trading session.Due to GDP boost,Dubai worry not affected our markets.So every thing was good for last week.
The way ahead is very rough.Even though last quarter GDP rate was better than expected,the running quarter is facing a lot of issues.Of those most important one is agricultural problems.This will decrease our growth rate.So be cautious of the situation.
Last week even though nifty was able to trade at 5181, due to the profit taking at double top (5181) nifty closed at 5109.Now nifty is said to be bullish if it is able to trade above 5181 on monday.Then the first resistance is 5250.Above which(on a closing basis) nifty may go up to 5400.Nifty will get support at 5100.Below the support levels are 4850 and 4780.Sensex will get support at 16680,16550,16280 and 16000 levels.It will face resistance at 17470.
Important global events to watch-Ben Bernanke speech on Dec 7,Jobless claims Dec 10.
