As every one expected RBI hiked CRR,REPO and REVERSE REPO by 25 bps(This was the best scenario available for RBI).Thus done rate hike in favour of markets.
So previous week our Markets traded firm.Nifty witnessed some buying interest in some selected stocks.Though markets traded below 20 DMA during that period,once again managed to break that level successfully.So markets are good for traders.Expect range bounded market in coming days.
Monday Nifty have to cross 5327 and close above that level to continue buying interest.If so it may see 5398/5430/5480/5540 levels in near term.
If nifty breaches 5275 and stays below that level nifty is weak and then it may see 5200-5170/ 5130-5095/5030 in coming days.
SENSEX have to breach and hold 17800 to continue bullish trend.Then possible higher targets for the near term are 18000,18200 and 18400.Possible lower targets are 17400,17200 and 17000.
Markets may be volatile this week ahead of F&O closing on 29/4/2010.So keep strict stop loss in every trade.

Indian stock market weekly outlook from 19/4/2010 to 23/4/2010

Previous weak our Markets traded weak.Nifty witnessed some profit taking and position unwinding ahead of the presentation of RBI's annual statement of monetary policy for the fiscal year on tuesday (April 20,2010) by Dr D Subbarao, the Reserve Bank of India Governor.But traded in a range 5200-5400.5200 is still a good support for Nifty.
But there is another important factor that affect our markets on monday.Dow tumbled friday as US regulators charged Goldman Sachs for defrauding investors.Dowlost 126 points and finished at 11018.S&P 500 lost 19 points and NASDAQ lost 34 points.Goldman shares fell 12.8 pct to $160.70 after news.
So there is a possibility that our markets may lose 5200 support.If so expect support at 5150.Instead of shorts better buy on declines with a target of 5300/5350/5400.
Sensex will get strong support at 17170-17150.Resistance levels are 17880/18170/18350
Eventhough March inflation was 17 month high at 9.9 per cent,0.01 percent higher compared to last month, it was lower than expected by experts for the month.But higher than RBI's forecast of 8.5 per cent for the end of financial year 2009-2010.So RBI may hike CRR by50-125 bps.This will also affect our market this week.So be cautious while trading.

Previous week I said-"Monday Nifty have to cross 5330 and stay above 5318 to stay positive".That happened.Nifty breached 5330 and reached 5378 and closed at 5368 on monday.At 5400 some selling pressure occured and it lead Nifty to 5290.Then once again markets witnessed buying interest and Nifty closed at 5362 on a weekly basis.
This week Sensex breached 18000,which is a mile stone for coming days.Nifty also reached 5400(provisionally).So markets are still showing positive trend.Global markets are also trading strong,which is favourable for our markets.
This monday Nifty have to breach 5404 to continue uptrend.If it happens Nifty may see 5450 and 5520 soon.If it trades below 5320 Nifty will lose the uptrend and it may see lower levels 5250/5220/5195.Monday Sensex have to cross 18075 to continue bullish trend.If it happens Sensex next targets are 18250/18460.If sensex breaches 17792 it may see lower levels like 17520/17360.

Indian stock market weekly outlook from 5/4/2010 to 9/4/2010

As we said on previous analysis our markets are trading with out any clear direction or trading range bounded.Though Nifty and Sensex started the week with gains,Nifty faced strong resistance at 5325 and then selling pressure lead nifty to 5235 levels.But managed to close above previous weekly close.
Monday Nifty have to cross 5330 and stay above 5318 to stay positive.If it breaches 5263 it is negative for the market.Sensex have to cross 17800 and then stay above 17734 to remain in Positive zone.
Now 5300-5350 zone is a strong resistance for Nifty.A close above 5350 will strengthen Nifty, which may lead Nifty to 5380/5430/5500 levels.5250 and 5200 are the support for nifty.Below 5200 Nifty may test 5145.A close below 5145 will lead Nifty to a down trend.
17500 is a good support for Sensex.Below 17500 Sensex will get support at 17350 and 17220.17800 is the first resistance for Sensex.Above which Sensex face resistance at 17960 and 18130.
